Dušan Smoljak became the new COO of the marketing agency Acomware, who until now worked at the agency as head of the consulting department.
In the new role, he will replace Ondřej Smékal, who will now focus primarily on further development in the area of media buying, including television and OOH formats, in the position of Chief Business Officer. Dušan Smoljak has been working at the agency for over three years, he started here as a Performance Team Leader and subsequently moved to the role of Head of Consulting, where he was in charge of managing the entire team of consultants and client projects.
"Acomware has been growing dynamically in the last two years, and not only in our initially main services, which are performance marketing or e-mailing. Creative agency Blueglue and the customer retention and data division are also a big engine of growth. That's why I'm glad that one of the most important positions in the company will be filled by Dušan, who has a strong drive for goal, a responsible approach to work and also enormous know-how in the field of digital marketing. And I am very happy that it has once again proven that Acomware is a company where a person with enthusiasm can in a relatively short time get from an ordinary position to the top management of the company,” says David Vurma, CEO of Acomware.
In his new position, Smoljak will focus primarily on company management from the point of view of day-to-day operations individual departments and further development of services for clients in the field of digital marketing.

Dušan clearly convinced us that his ability to build a background for complex projects with a time allowance of hundreds of hours per month is exactly what Acomware needs," adds Roman Oravec, CEO and CFO of Acomware.
"The position of operations director will be a big challenge for me. I am looking forward to developing individual product departments. I am planning a whole range of product innovations as well as further improving the quality of our services. In the past, Smoljak worked as a Project Manager at the Marketup agency or in the marketing of Plzeňské Prazdroje. He also lectures at conferences and conducts seminars on online marketing. He is a member of the board of directors of ADMEZ and sits on the jury of industry competitions.
