What do e-shop customers want today? That's what another Eshopista was about

What do e-shop customers want today? How long are customers willing to wait for goods ordered from the e-shop? How do the e-shops and carriers themselves have to deal with it? What to do when you are about to discover other business opportunities in new markets? This was the topic of the next Eshopista, which took place on September 14 in Prague.

The key topics were trends in logistics and expansion. What awaits e-shops in these areas in the near future and how do they have to react to it now? What to look out for when conquering new markets and why are many e-shops increasingly inclined to use logistics outsourcing?

Among the main speakers was Zdeněk Prchlík, Managing Director from Zásilkovna. He showed what trucking companies are facing today, whether it's influences like fuel prices or inflation and recession, and what solutions exist. He also revealed how the impact of the economic situation affects the entire transport infrastructure, what should e-shops prepare for in the future and what are the trends not only in the area of sustainability, but also the delivery itself. He also uncovered interesting data from a consumer survey for you.

Petr Novotný, Managing Director of Packety International, shared with you current information on what e-shop customers are increasingly demanding in the field of shipping abroad and how shipping companies have to cope with the trend of demand for fast delivery, i.e. short lead times for shipping abroad to 48 hours. He will also give advice on how to expand into interesting markets and how to process the whole thing efficiently.

Josef Dvořák, Head of Wolt Drive, gave a lecture on how Q-commerce is now developing, i.e. express delivery within tens of minutes of ordering.

What to prepare before you set out to conquer new markets? What analysis must you not forget? What to focus on in which steps? Why is it worth testing the expansion? Michal Janík, CEO of Mergado, revealed the know-how why it is worthwhile to test the entry into a new market with the help of platforms and comparison with the competition and to try whether it makes sense to embark on this expansion on a large scale.

Patrik Babinec, CMO Skladon, showed how to simplify expansion into new markets and why a number of e-shops are increasingly leaning towards outsourcing logistics. What trends await us in the field of fulfillment in the coming years and he showed interesting data from foreign markets.
